That’s A Bingo! Christoph Waltz Cast In Bond 24.
Chris Scalzo
Waltz in Django Unchained
Two-time Best Supporting Actor winner Waltz has been cast in the latest Bond film. Best known for his roles in ‘Inglourious Basterds’ and ‘Django Unchained’ (those are the films he won Oscars for, as you damn sure better have known), his character has been described as an uneasy ally of James Bond.
Rumors still swirling as to who will be the film’s villain and we’re all rooting for Chiwetel Ejiofor in the First Run camp. Principal photography is set to begin in December with locations in London, Austria, Morocco, Mexico, and Italy with the release date set for November 6, 2015.
UPDATE: Rumors are swirling that Waltz has been cast as Ernst Stavro Blofeld and EON is pulling the old John Harrison/Star Trek Into Darkness/Khan move to mask his true identity.
Waltz's character is said to be the song of the Bond's parents' skiing instructor, but that all may be (and probably is) a fake out. Time (and leaks) will tell. EON is prepping to announce the official title of Bond 24 and a general plot summary the first week of December.
