Upcoming Throne Of Blood Remake Gets Post Release Amazon Exclusivity

It's good to be the king.

So did you know there was a new version of Macbeth starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard coming out this year?  We missed that announcement over here.  Another intern is on their way out…

Fassbender stars as the titular power hungry lord while Cotillard is the Lady having so much trouble with the stains in her laundry. 

Seeing this pair tackle one of my favorite plays is exciting to even think about!  But my main concern is with the Amazon exclusivity.  I think we can all assume that though this is getting a holiday 2015 release, it’s not going to be a blockbuster.  I love the cord cutting and steaming options, but how many services do we need to subscribe?  And does this deal delay any Blu-ray release?
