TFR Ep. 359: Spider-Man: Homecoming, Okja, 5 Best Remaining Spider-Man Villains

This week on The First Run, Matt’s never been more excited. It’s the brand new, MCU proper Webhead movie, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. Can it possibly live up this his lofty expectations? Can the Vulture really work as the main villain? And is five (!) screenwriters no longer a foreboding predictor disaster? It’s an old guy in a bird suit for pete’s sake! Will Chris bash it out of blind, nauseous, loyalty to DC? Then it’s director Bong Joon-Ho’s ‘Okja’. His prior film, ‘The Host’ is much loved around TFR HQ. Can Joon-Ho repeat the magic with a super-sized pig and Tilda Swinton? As always, there’s the rundown of the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Streaming and Straight To DVD Picks Of The Week. Then the show wraps up with the 5 Best Remaining Spider-Man Rogues yet to be cast against the Spectacular hero. Will Kangaroo make the cut?!? How about Will O’ The Wisp?
