TFR Ep. 310: The Neon Demon, Lawrence Of Arabia, Classics Marathon Awards
Chris Scalzo
Chris has been looking forward to this one for over a year now. And it’s finally here. Nicolas Winding Refn’s, ‘The Neon Demon’ has arrived. It’s a story old as time. A young, aspiring model comes to L.A. and runs afoul of some sketchy people. And things just get horribly worse from there. But what or who is the evil force at to work here? Is it all of the people desperately tying to cling to their stardom and beauty? Is it may not quite so innocent young star? The city? Perhaps those pesky mountain lions? I’d have to lean to Keanu. The guys then rundown the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Straight To DVD Pick of the Week. It’s more a palette cleanser this time around. Then their long national nightmare is over as the Classics Marathon comes to an end with ‘Lawrence Of Arabia’. It’s been a great run. But Matt and Chris can now g back to hiding their embarrassment and you’ll never know what other classic films they haven’t seen. The show wraps up with the Marathon Awards. Who was the Best Actress? What was the Best Picture of the bunch? And what film delivered the most racist moment? Take a listen to find out!
Please forgive the audio issues in the very beginning. We're trying out some new software and it didn't go as planned.
