Feel like dropping us a note and telling us how great we're doing?  Or maybe that we have no idea what the heck we're doing and should shut down the whole thing?   Perhaps just a suggestion or two?

Well, drop us a line and let us know!  Don't be shy.  We can take it.  Especially if it's praise.  We eat that stuff up!

TFR Ep. 335: La La Land, Manchester By The Sea, The Eyes Of My Mother, Who Dat?

Chris Scalzo

Chris and Matt continue to plow through the year-end Oscar contenders this week with their discussions of ‘La La Land’ and ‘Manchester By The Sea’.  First up, Chris’ world may be changed forever after seeing director Damien Chazelle’s modern musical, ‘La La Land’, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling.  Then the joy train comes to an abrupt halt with Casey Affleck and Michelle Williams in ‘Manchester By The Sea’.  Affleck plays a man brought back to his hometown after his brother’s passing, having to deal with his grieving nephew while being haunted by his own past.  Two big features this week.  But wait, there’s more!  Matt and Chris review the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Streaming and Straight To DVD Picks of the Week.  After even that, our horror marathon continues with ‘The Eyes Of My Mother’.  Chris explains the one rule that this film reinforces, while being creeped out.  And finally, it’s everyone’s favorite role playing game, ‘Who Dat?!?’   It’s a super fun, action packed episode with at least 28 cumulative minutes of entertainment.
