Feel like dropping us a note and telling us how great we're doing?  Or maybe that we have no idea what the heck we're doing and should shut down the whole thing?   Perhaps just a suggestion or two?

Well, drop us a line and let us know!  Don't be shy.  We can take it.  Especially if it's praise.  We eat that stuff up!

TFR Ep. 369: Blade Runner 2049, Gerald’s Game, Weinstein Allegations, Call It!

Chris Scalzo

This week on The First Run, Chris and Matt discuss ‘Blade Runner 2049’.   Ryan Gosling is your new Blade Runner, still on the hunt for rogue replicants.  Can acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve (‘Prisoners’, ‘Sicaro’, ‘Arrival’) sequel possibly live up to the hype?  Box office returns have been below expectations.  Is the public right to ignore the film?  Matt and Chris also checked in on the Netflix original, ‘Gerald’s Game’.  Is it possible that this is the best adaptation of a Stephen King property this year?  Per usual, there’s a rundown of the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Streaming and Straight To DVD Picks of the Week.  The guys share their thoughts on the Harvey Weinstein allegations and then wrap up the show with a special edition of Call It!  Chris and Matt predict the Rotten Tomato Scores for the big releases left to come out in 2017, with real stakes this time.  Straight gift cards homey.

Note: This episode contains appropriate levels of profanity.  Also, here's a link to that Birth Movies Death article, The Future Is Faux Female that Chris mentions.
