Feel like dropping us a note and telling us how great we're doing?  Or maybe that we have no idea what the heck we're doing and should shut down the whole thing?   Perhaps just a suggestion or two?

Well, drop us a line and let us know!  Don't be shy.  We can take it.  Especially if it's praise.  We eat that stuff up!

TFR Ep. 355: Baywatch, War Machine, Worst TV To Film Adaptations

Chris Scalzo

This week’s episode of The First Run features Chris and Matt’s discussion of the big screen version of ‘Baywatch’.   The comedy features the talents of Mr. Dwayne Johnson, Mr. Zec Effron, and Ms. Alexandra Daddario.  ‘Baywatch’ brings back all the things you loved about the original show.  But is that necessarily a good thing?  Then it’s a satirical, somewhat fictionalized look at the firing of General Stanley McChrystal, based on Michael Hastings’ book, ‘The Operators’.  Chris had no idea.  Brad Pitt stars in the Netflix original film as General McMahon as he is tasked to manage, or win, the war in Afghanistan.  There’s your reliable rundown of the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Straight To DVD and Streaming Picks of the Week.  Then in dishonor of ‘Baywatch’, Matt and Chris list their 5 Worst TV to Film Adaptations.  Still, no Gilligan’s Island…?
