This week on The First Run, it’s a Dad-Movie Fest as Chris and Matt kicks things off with Matt Damon and Christian Bale in ‘Ford v Ferrari’.  The story of Carroll Shelby’s and Ken Miles’ partnership with the Ford Motor Company as they attempt to win the Le Mans 24-hour race and defeat Ferrari’s reign, and insults.  Featuring a strong ensemble cast and thrilling race scenes, does the film get the checkered flag? (Vroom vroom!).  Vince Gilligan then brings us the coda to his classic series, ‘Breaking Bad’ with ‘El Camino’.  Just what happened to Jesse after the series faded to black?  And were we better off not knowing?  Long live Badger and Skinny Pete!  There’s the reasonably entertaining rundown of the big releases on Blu-Ray & DVD, featuring the Straight to DVD and Streaming Picks of the Week.  The show then wraps with our 2019 Gift Guide as Matt & Chris share what you can get the movie lover in your life (or yourself) this holiday season, featuring a very special guest!
