Feel like dropping us a note and telling us how great we're doing?  Or maybe that we have no idea what the heck we're doing and should shut down the whole thing?   Perhaps just a suggestion or two?

Well, drop us a line and let us know!  Don't be shy.  We can take it.  Especially if it's praise.  We eat that stuff up!

TFR Ep. 38: Hereafter, Winter's Bone, What Are The Odds?

Chris Scalzo

You feelin' lucky, punks?  Oh, you are?  Well okay, in that case, let me show you a little bit about what you have to look forward to.  That's right, Clint Eastwood takes time out of his tough guy schedule, to show us his idea of the afterlife in his newest film, Hereafter.  A proven director, Eastwood journeys into new territory to try to provide some insight into one of life's great unknowns and reflect on life in general, with a topic that is sure to inspire and engage all audiences. The guys will also be discussing Winter's Bone, a small independent movie that has generated a lot of praise.  To answer your question, no sadly it's not about a guy named Winter, and the letter R isn't missing from the title.  Grow up!  It's a suspenseful tale of poverty, desperation, and strength, set in the wilderness of the Ozark mountains.
In addition, a rundown of this week's blu-ray/dvd picks, and once again it's time for everyone's favorite game, What Are The Odds?!  So dial up John Edward, and try to figure out who you know in your life whose name begins with a 'J'. It's an all new episode of the First Run!

Correction: Yes, I know.  I kept pronouncing Lars Von Trier as 'Van' Trier.  I have absolutely no idea why.
